MTV News website shut down, archives removed.

This is expected given how MTV is mainly a sublabel within the Paramount+.

Also some of the things that ran on MTV News followed how magazines that focused on Music in the 1980's, 1990's up to the early 2000's were. MTV News during this time frame focused on what was trending on GenX and the older half of Millennials when they were considered the youngest demographics at that time MTV News was relevant.

I don't remember much about MTV News in the 80s. I remember Tabitha Soren's coverage in the 90s, including the '92 election.
 
what happen is Paramount seems to not be able to afford data anymore on their websites and just decided to give it up to Paramount Plus, they need to upload all content they own on to the Paramount Plus servers. i wouldn't be surprise we getting more "Lost media" out of this, all these media companies are doing is making Piracy make a big comeback.
