My apologies to the users of Radio Discussions

I want to apologize to all of the users of this board for allowing myself to stoop to another user's level on the Buffalo board. I allowed my personal distaste for a certain individual to post a diatribe that I now realize was in poor taste. For this I humbly apologize.

I will not allow Radiowaves/Buddy/whomever to drag me to their level and ruin the experience here for other users. Therefore, I have requested the moderators to delete my account, so I will no longer be tempted to engage in useless discussions with individuals who, quite frankly, aren't worth the effort.

I do not have to justify my resume to Radiowaves, and frankly, he doesn't respect anyone but himself, so I won't waste my time.

To everyone else, have a great life, keep posting, and enjoy Radio as long as it's here, because one day it will be gone along with dinosaurs like myself.
 
Oh, Ted. Do you really think all of us get along, gently sway side to side, and cheerfully sing Kumbaya in perfect harmony?

There are people here that grate my nerves on a case by case basis, almost daily. There are those out there that probably wish I'd take a long walk off'n a short pier on my next fishing expedition, too. Just be you, partner. No need to apologize for speaking your mind. I'd much rather you do that here, than to pick up a long rifle and start firing away at the air because you can't hold the anger in any longer.

Give it a few days, cool off, cowboy up, and then go back to being one of the better contributions to the group that I usually see from you on my screen. Certain people can make a Saint want to cuss. No need to run off.

Ted, youre fine... you back up what you say with expierience and knowledge. You and i have talked a few times off the boards.. and oyu come to an argument with real life expierience, facts and knowledge.. not just hearsay and opinion.. in regards to what you're referencing here.

Dont go anywhere..... we like you here.
 
Thanks for the encouragement. Unfortunately, the e-mail has been sent and since I have no control over who receives it and how they view me, I could be gone permanently. They may view this as an opportunity to reduce bandwidth by not having snarky memes or my commentary taking up resources. Right now, my use of the meme generator is hanging on by a thread depending on if Lance votes up or down...

Now I know how the Christians felt in the lion's den...

Ted, I don't think you should leave ! You are friendly to everyone, and you always have something interesting to say. I vote for you to stay. You make many valuable contributions here. I would miss you if you left. Please reconsider. -- Daryl
 
After being away this weekend, I have no idea what even happened to start this thread.

None of us moderators have the time to read every thread or post or the site. That's why the report post button is there. The moderators are here as group leaders and industry experts moreso than babysitters, will intervene when necessary, and they all have sole judgment to do what is necessary for a thread.

We're all adults here and should be able to self-police one another.
