WGN America to NewsNation

On Sundays, I watched ALF and WKRP in Cincinnati on WGN America.

I think WGN America even aired '80s movies from time to time.

Use to watch them to along with syndicated shows on Saturdays over the years Hercules The Legendary Journeys, Xena Warrior Princess, Highlander, Legend of the Seeker and sometimes some movies if they had a good movie on when it was WGN Superstation/WGN America.

But the re-runs get better numbers than the news programming. I don’t buy that nexstar is actually making a lot of money off newsnation - with the whole, “nexstar gets to keep all the revenue.” NN is in trouble and nexstar knows it
Not to mention Scripps News (A streaming & Diginet) is likely KICKING THEIR BUTT

Yes and also the nexstar owned local TV Stations have more viewers than even News Nation. I mean stations like WGN, KTLA, WPIX, KRON, KSWB/KUSI, KTXL, KDVR/KWGN have more viewers than News Nation.
That's A REALLY sad state of affairs

NewsNation ratings have gone up enough that it probably isn't true anymore. NewsNation is averaging a 0.04 share in prime time, which is 2x what it was right after launch.

KTLA is a CW affiliate in Los Angeles. The whole network has a 0.10 average rating. It is absurd to think the station in LA has half of the viewership of the whole CW network.

What are the ratings for Scripps News compared to NewsNation?? My bet is Scripps News is NOW where WGN America likely was before Nexstar BLEW IT UP to create NewsNation
