It's called "in text advertising". This post explains it and how to turn it off:What in the world is this? Individual words in user posts being highlighted and linked to Google search results, none of which have anything to do with broadcasting? Please explain why RadioDiscussions is doing this and who's making money off it.
It's not happening now.It is a feature of Google AdSense, but one that is disabled on this site. If it is appearing for you, I cannot verify where it is coming from.
I was talking to the Original Poster. I have no idea what issue you are talking about. It's not happening now.
There are some sites on the internetz that tell how tracking works, no matter which site. Anyway keeping the computer or device clean and up to date helps prevents some odd stuff you see around the web. Anyhoo on to find a radio topic!I saw a weird ad just now. It was like the ad was part of the post. Someone posted a link to a news story and there was the ad right in the news story.
I was at the shopping center with Pet Supplies Plus earlier today but I don't see how the computer knows this.
