Spanish A/C on WBLS HD2

The number of HD subchannels in this area continues to grow. The new station is called Luna 107.5. To my ears, the audio processing sounds really good. There was an automated time check, while I was listening.
Last month, WBLS' sister station Hot 97 added an HD2 devoted to Regional Mexican music.

Maybe Modelled After This Station

It appears that the sister station in Dallas plays more rhythmic-sounding tunes (including cumbias) than the new HD2 in New York.
Interesting. Cumbias are still popular from NE Mexico all the way down Central America and the former Gran Colombia and even, as techno-cumbia (keyboards rather than brass) in Peru, Chile and Argentina.

But in the Greater Antilles, that music form is pretty much toxic.

As I recall, when 92.7 was going through several Spanish language formats, they had one that played similar soft a/c songs. It does sound rather staid, compared to Luna in Dallas.
