Radio-Related Tattoos?

I was curious if anyone in the industry has decided to get any radio-related tattoos? I’m not talking about contests in the past where listeners have had station logos tattooed on their face or other parts of their body. I’m talking about something that’s radio-related and is meaningful to you.

I currently have zero tattoos, but I have a couple radio-related ideas in mind if I ever decide to get any. 🙂
 
So one of my ideas was a radio tower, kind of like that. Instead of the lines emanating from the the top of the tower, mine would have circles and I would fill in the circles with colors.

The other idea I had would be smaller tattoos, with simply the 2 frequencies of where I got my start in radio. As of now, I’m not quite sure about the placement of the tattoos. Maybe my knuckles for the frequencies? I’m kidding! My mom would probably disown me. 😂

And good morning to you too!! Are you 130 years old?! Have you seen what people in radio look like nowadays? And the Fortune 500 company I currently work for would have no issues at all. A lot of the directors have tattoos and some even have face piercings.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn’t get call letters. Just frequencies. Although formats have changed, the 2 frequencies where I got my start will never change. Even if they were to go off the air, they would still have meaning to me and I think with tattoos, that’s all that matters.

Actually, I turn 131 on Wednesday. Not sure what that has to do with you getting a radio tattoo, which I agree you should get. Maybe one on the left side of your face?

And just like many younger demos that get ink or piercings that can be easily seen, they're hurting their chances of passing an in person interview for an office role.

Remember, do report back in a year or to how long you kept the gig at that station. It will be interesting to see if the ink curse carries over.
