ESPN 880

Whatever is on 98.7 will now be on 880, except when it is pre-empted for Mets games. If there is ESPN local programming scheduled at that time, it will be heard on 1050 during those pre-emptions. It's just that simple.

I wonder if they will go live and local 24/7 now to compete with WFAN?

I don't expect any changes to the previous 98.7 schedule. It will move to 880, except as pre-empted by Mets games (the Audacy exception to the LMA) and if a local show conflicts with those baseball games the local programming will then pre-empt the ESPN network programming on 1050, as luperm said.

I think zero chance they go 24/7 local. I think there's a better chance that WFAN gives up local overnights.
'FAN has done that at least once before -- "Ferrall on the Bench," with gravel-throated Scott Ferrall. That syndicated show didn't last long. I'm surprised that the station remains live overnight, TBH.

Except for the Days when Brandon Tierney & Steven A.Smith did a show together. I find ESPN radio 📻 sports talk extremely boring 🥱. Like watch paint dry boring
