James Darren, Teen Idol Actor in ‘Gidget,’ Singer and Director, Dies at 88

Don't forget his year on The Time Tunnel (1966-67).

I never knew, until today, that James Darren's son is Jim Moret of Inside Edition. May James Darren rest in peace.

One of the earliest songs I remember hearing on WIBG radio (hometown South Philadelphia singer) was Goodbye Cruel World.

Which used the same circus music intro that Three Dog Night used (in the intro and as a bridge) on their '70s hit "The Show Must Go On."

And speaking of which, I also recall another short-lived syndie show he was on (Moret, that is) called EDJ: Entertainment Daily Journal-- does anyone here remember that one?
