Does WICC still carry Yankees baseball? I assume the games will be simulcast on WFOX-FM (or will it be rebranded WICC-FM), right?
Makes sense. I always wondered why they were on WICC when the WFAN signal was so strong into Fairfield and New Haven County. I haven't been back to CT since late '21.
It has only to improve on a sub-1.0 share. The old format was sinking like a rock. Or should I say like rock itself?
I'm surprised there's any demand for music on terrestrial radio these days with so much targeted streaming content available.
News/talk might be a better option but unfortunately WICC's lineup isn't very compelling. I applaud them for trying to keep it local but good local talent may not be easy to find.
