Jimmy Failla to replace Mark Levin on WPHT

Will one of the area 3rd rate talkers pick Levin up? A few watts on a FM translator counts as a market clear.
It's possible he could wind up on WNTP. He was there years ago, but Salem likes to try to keep things in-house now.

Would one of the tiny little stations that are basically owner's playthings (WFYL, WJFP) pick him up? Could they afford it? Would they make enough on barter to be worth it?

Just announced on the morning show. Starts in October, 7 to 10 pm.
I don't get how they think Jimmy Failla is a better option in a election cycle than Mark Levin that has how many years of experience covering elections? Nobodys even gonna listen. This guy was a cab driver for most of his life....

Donald Trump was a repeatedly failed "businessman" before becoming President. Republicans don't care about what you've done as long as you're saying the right things now.

This is a better fit with the local shows. Levin has become rather shrill, to say the least. This show is more like what they do at KFI. Surprised more stations aren't carrying it.
The local shows may not have quite the same nasally sound as his voice, but they’re every bit the same otherwise as Levin. The same tiresome rants, the same juvenile name calling. The same intellectual dishonesty.

Failla does his show live from noon to 3 p.m. ET. So for WPHT to air it from 7 to 10 p.m. is a sizable delay.

The Fox News schedule of talk hosts is made up of four shows:
--Brian Kilmeade ... 9 a.m. to noon
--Will Cain ... noon to 1 p.m.
--Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla ... noon to 3 p.m.
--Guy Benson ... 3 to 6 p.m. (not Chad Benson, who does his show 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a different network)

You are mistaking "failed business" with "failed businessman". Not just in the case of Trump, but in all areas of business companies have closed or liquidated divisions that are not profitable. If they are "constructed" as separate entities, they can declare bankruptcy and liquidate. If they have ongoing value, they can be sold off.

I was a division VP at a company that had one division, a supermarket chain on Long Island, liquidate. The other divisions kept on, successfully, making a profit and operating as normal.
