Fantasy tv station/programming website

There has to be some kind of point to this, but I have no idea what it could be. 🤪

I’d say that’s a much better place than here for users to post their fantasies to their heart’s content without fear of being banned or given reality checks (the latter of which such users don’t heed).

There's also a fantasy radio stations wiki - I'll make a thread about it. I've never used either of these sites, so I'm not entirely sure how you add or change info on fantasy stations.

It is because of the latter behavior that the previously mentioned actions are necessary.

I remember the one I was on back in the early 2000s where you could own a bunch of stations from ABC, CBS, NBC & FOX. No MyNetwork TV or UPN/WB/CW stations as they weren't the networks they are today & while you could air MyNetwork TV programming on your station, you couldn't claim to be an affiliate of the network

Basically, it was treated like a syndication service

Being on there was FUN :)

Sadly, that site no longer exists today

Too bad. It would have been a good place for all the fantasy posters to hang out instead of breaking the rules by posting here.

I do "get" where they are coming from. I can see the fun aspects of it, even though I don't indulge in it myself (mostly, my time is split between my consultancy and doctor appointments, the latter of which have been increasing as I get older, LOL). I only wish they understood the difference between message boards' focus ... too often, they think every radio and television board is a place for them to indulge their fantasies and/or wild speculations.

Under the circumstances, I take pity on the moderators who have the Herculean task of making those individuals see that kind of posting is not welcomed here.

That's why I posted it, so that people who wanted to make fantasy posts could do them there. I hope it isn't against the rules.
