Vertical device used to elevate an antenna. Used for creating the truck to studio link for a remote feed.
 
Do stations in NYC still use live trucks? We’ve abandoned them and only use backpack live bags
The smart ones do.
Much of the day-to-day live ENG is done with bonded cellular, such as Dejero and LiveU. Latency issues aside, it’s a great technology, as long as there’s a functioning cellular network. If that becomes strained, stations with vehicles that can send a microwave signal to a receive site will be the ones that can get their shots on the air.
