AI Presenters on Radio

^^^
On Tuesday the station broadcast an "interview" conducted by an AI-generated presenter with a voice pretending to be Wisława Szymborska, a Polish poet and winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature who died in 2012.

I'd love to hear AI interview Al:
That conjures some pretty interesting imagery...

I can't even imagine the weird mess such an interview would disintegrate into, especially with the way the current generation of AI tends to make up total nonsense and confidently, but wrongly present it as fact (what the industry calls "hallucinations").

I'm sure it's on the way. AI voices on YT already sound way better than they did just two or three years ago. Give the tech a couple more years for development and refinement, and there will be all sorts of job losses / displacement / workers 'in transition' (a term they used in the unemployment office after I was laid off in the late 2000's).
