I’m not sure if they did only tv or also radio but

“Call Standard Insurance” is a strong memory in my mind, but I’m glad you mentioned Freeds. WOW!

The world seems to get smaller every day. Isn't it something, @Ryan Williams? There you are in Waco, me in Tyler. 130 (or so) miles separate us, but we share some of the same memories of pulling in the old OTA signals from Dallas, and having those old 1980's and 1990's commercials permanently burned into both of our minds.

How about a little bit of Houston? Westside Chevrolet, Katy Freeway, Peek Road exit, Houuu-ston. Westside Chevrolet, Katy Freeway, Peek Road exit, Houuu-ston. Just west of big city prices!

Or...

Call Gallery, 6-9-4-5-5-7-oh!

We have ways, yes we have ways to beat the 80's... At First Texas.

I saw you said jingles and thought of station jingles. But, commercial jingles are cool too.

“No service, credit, or delivery fees
Are added unless you ask for these.
Hey Mr. Greenfield,
Sounds just great to me”

Greenfield Office Furniture in the late 60s/early 70s. I’ve never found it in YouTube.

There were two good ones for Fort Worth National Bank.

One was a basic jingle, “Fort Worth National, that’s my bank.”

The other was a full song to the tune of William Tell Overture.

I remember several of those.

Regarding the Dallas Times-Herald classified ad, I'd guess that younger people hardly know what newspaper classified ads are. But they used to be a huge profit center.
