Waterloo Changes in Austin

Do you mean Latino? Cause isn’t mega on 93.3?
The reason is probably because a booster can't extend your coverage. It can only augment your coverage in areas you're supposed to cover. 93.3 does fine in and around Austin. Its problems are in the areas around Hays and Bastrop Counties. No booster could help with that.

I’ll admit, it’s probably a technical thing I don’t understand about the situation of Waterloo and 93.3 but I’ve noticed that up here in Waco I can pick them up some days, like just now I was picking them up pretty decently then static, I’m assuming they’re switching between the Bertram and west lake hills transmitters, like why? Can’t they just pick one and stick with it? Someone please let me know

Any of this a reaction to Norsan entering the market?
I truly find Waterloo's decisions since taking over from Emmis to be baffling. They've lost heritage talent, split the same talent over as many as three shows (live talk shows, not voice tracked jock shifts) and adjusted formats how many times? All while bumbling and then virtually negating the KGSR brand. And that was one of the best sets of stations in the business under Emmis.
Work still going on with the damaged antenna? I was in San Marcos a week ago and during a quick bandscan I found KLZT with a good signal but no HD.
I listened to Latino 97.1 yesterday to compare it with the other "Magic" stations. The presentation seems disorganized at best. The "just played" list showed they played "Don't Stop Believing" twice in only a few hours. The commercial breaks are never-ending and they repeat spots within the same break. I won't be returning unless I hear improvements have been made.
