Actress Terri Garr has died

Just a day or two ago, I stumbled across another airing -- probably the 869th -- of Young Frankenstein on the Movies Channel, at a point in the film when she and Gene Wilder were playing opposite each other. I had two thoughts: "Damn, wasn't she cute back then?", and then, "Didn't she pass away not that long ago?" I knew she had some degenerative disease (it was multiple sclerosis), but how ironic is that?

She also did a bunch of TV ads for WLTW:

She was a spokeswoman for several AC stations around 25 years ago. I remember her doing ads for 98.1 KUDL in Kansas City and Soft Rock 102.5 KEZK in St. Louis. KUDL used her ads after CBS signed on KSRC “Star 102,” which it figured would start using those spots since KEZK was doing it.
