I always wondered which one it was? For that matter, what Personalities owned a Food/Beverage Restaurant. I know there was Whittinghills, would have loved to eat there, I know nothing about it. Ed Kirby, KDAY//KBLA GM owned a Loves in the Valley, always mediocre food at Loves, any Loves. Heard really wild stories of Nickodell's back in the day! I'd say the most famous Industry Restaurant was Martoni's in Hollywood, great Italian food for the Radio & Record industry. There must be others

There were two Nickodells at one time. The less-famous one, which closed before the other, was at Argyle and Selma in Hollywood. No one noticed when that one went away…but everyone in town lamented the closure of the one at 5511 Melrose Avenue, built into the side of a movie studio. The studio was at one time RKO Studios
 
For all entertainment people, not just radio, it is Musso & Franks on Hollywood Boulevard.

Did the waiters actually yell at you, part of the charm of Musso & Franks. I've only heard good things there. Another popular Media restaurant was the Villa Capri, one of Sinatra & the Rat Pack's favorite places. We went there as a kid. However aside from Wally George & his Great American Restaurant, did any other Los Angeles Radio people own or manage a Restaurant or Bar?
 
Depends on how old you want to go.

Hamburger Hamlet in Westwood Village was a popular place for industry folks at one time. Now it's gone.

Dan Tana's is another heritage place. Just down the street from the Troubadour.

A real old school stop is the Tam O'Shanter, that was frequented by Walt Disney. It's still open. I went there recently.
 
What about Dalt's? It was by Warner Brothers and always had lots of celebrities there. It was also in the same building as KROQ, until KROQ moved from Burbank to LA, and near KLAC, so a lot of djs from those stations went to it.
