I suspect it will still be very music-driven, and not really a "morning show." Does John Allers still have a hand in programming KVIL? If so, I could expect mornings with Ian Camfield to sound like what John did in mornings at WRFF Philly.

Yes. He also has a hand in KITS in San Francisco, where Marci does mornings.

I hate to admit it, but this is probably a good move. Camfield does get positive attention. This gives him a few more hours on air every day. Though, I’m expecting the new personality in the afternoon to have the same impact as the non Camfield personalities on Fault 103.7: Forgettable. Much like their playlist.

So far it has been a music-driven morning show. Ian does break in every couple of songs but 4-5 songs per set seems to be the standard operating procedure from 7-10 am. Just a smidgen more chatter than usual from him. After the 10 am hour things settled back down to around 6 songs per set.
