They preempted that for this?

"Jeopardy" won't be on in Charlotte this Friday, I guess. A college game. That happened last year. And for some reason I didn't get it from Greensboro either.

I assume last night's "Sullivan's Crossing" was a rerun. WCCB's Charlotte parade coverage ran over by around 5 minutes.

Jeopardy is not on Thanksgiving day on WHO 13 in Des Moines due to the rerun of the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade from 2pm to 5pm. It's not on overnight either. Usually it would air at 3am but it says Hello Iowa even though they didn't have an episode today due to Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade from 8:30am to Noon.

In terms of local news here in Phoenix today, KTVK preempted their Noon newscast, of which normally the first half hour is simulcasted with KPHO (CBS) for an On Your Side- Best of 2024 special as well as their 3PM newscast for Spy Killer: The Girl in the Desert as well as their 8PM news hour for a 2024 Surprise Squad Special & Cardinals Game Plan. Pretty much the same tomorrow for the Noon & 3PM newscasts getting preempted. Also, KPNX (NBC) is airing Momcast Now in its 2:30 slot tomorrow after Arizona Midday with Sunday Square Off taking this Thanksgiving weekend off.

Actually, I just checked the CW website and last nights episode of Sullivan's Crossing was new. It was season two episode 8 of the show.

This Friday, the Las Vegas Raiders will play the Kansas City Chiefs on Prime Video's Black Friday Football.
I'm shocked that there is an another Football game playing on a Friday this year. But at least i can understand why it's on Prime Video. ABC and Fox (or any other big OTA network i haven't mentioned) today are airing college football for almost the whole day. I could see a Friday Night Football happening, but unless if the FCC reverses the rule that the NFL can't have a game on Friday. then it's most likely gonna be only for special events, and if they do go ahead with it, it will most likely end up on a streaming service.

As I understand it, the Friday night avoidance is intended to protect high school football. I don't think it's an FCC rule, but more of an NFL preference or agreement. High school school football regilar seasons are probably over throughout the country, aside from playoffs. And I doubt they'd be playing games on Thanksgiving weekend anyways.

Saturday NFL games will return after the regular NCAA seasons have ended, and the bowl games start.

Depending upon your location and terrain, you might be able to get WOLO from Columbia with an antenna such as the Televes DATBOSS. They have a huge signal on VHF channel 7. They carry WOF at 7 pm and Jeopardy! at 7:30.

WLOS is another possibility, again, depending upon location and terrain. Gastonia, possibly, Concord, not likely.

These are not possibilities. Also, I didn't hear about this in time to buy an antenna, much less have it installed.

MNF tonight between the Cleveland Browns & the Denver Broncos will be an ESPN exclusive & it'll be simulcasted on WOIO (CBS/Cleveland) & KMGH (ABC/Denver). In Cleveland, CBS's primetime schedule tonight of The Neighborhood, Poppa's House, & NCIS will be shown following After Midnight with NCIS: Origins preempted altogether. Also, their newscasts (except 3 & 4PM) are preempted tonight opting for an 90-minute Tailgate 19 pregame from 5-6:30 & a Fifth Quarter postgame afterwards bumping their 11PM newscast off. In Denver, ABC's primetime lineup of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune & back-to-back episodes of Press Your Luck will be shown on KMGH's sister independent station KCDO.

And how do you think children and people wanting good family programming without politics are going to react?
Not remotely relevant. News happens. Suck it up.

Since it was a Christmas special, I'm thinking it might be repeated before the holiday.
Let me offer a helpful recap: someone got hit in the balls. Kids said bizarre things. Animals acted strangely. Now you’re all caught up from the whopping 15 minutes.

Monday Night Football is starting a bit early tonight on ABC with it being a DH week with Atlanta/Las Vegas at 8:30 on ESPN & network joining at 7:30 Eastern for Monday Night Countdown leading into 8PM kickoff of Chicago/Minnesota. KSTP (ABC Minneapolis) is preempting the pregame with their own local one called Vikings Monday Night Kickoff, which is scheduled to go off at 7 CT, but wouldn't be surprised if it joins at 6:45 when Monday Night Kickoff starts.

"Jeopardy" from Election Day was on yesterday. I was lucky it was on both stations that air the show at its normal time, because one aired it at a different time.

The first station, and the only one listed on my TiVo as having first aired Election Day, had a news bulletin about the insurance executive's murder.

The second station had an episode description that made it look like that day's episode, but it was in fact Election Day.
