We sometimes say the Adult Album Alternative format is not very successful. Look at how poorly KPNW-FM Seattle performed. Did it ever get a 1 rating before switching to Country music? But other AAA stations are doing well in several large markets...

In Portland, KINK is #2 .

In Chicago, WXRT is #7.

In Denver, KBCO is #8.

In Austin, non-commercial KUTX is #7.

In Seattle, non-commercial KEXP is #14.

KEXP lost $649,000. WXPN lost $520,000.
