WZLX Schedule

Kevin was the morning show. Pete & Heather certainly contributed, but Kevin was one of a kind and his loss was tragic. ZLX would need to add someone into the mix with them to make it work. I can’t think of anyone, maybe Zito, or someone else the Boston market is half familiar with. I’m guessing that’s where management got stuck, and Rich became a viable option. Paul & Al would surprise me, but iHeart has Kristin & Steve as well as Doug & Jenn simulcasting to Cape Cod. I won’t underestimate a company that loses -$300M annually.

I was rather enjoying Pete, Heather, and Kenny before Pete and Heather were shown the door. Sure, the show was not the same without Kevin, but they were making it work. They were also willing to work with the station and its other personalities, something that Rich was not going to do.
