When will KOST go all Christmas?

David raises a very strong question. When the sound was still the sound they stunted an hour of Christmas music during the AM drive Half the audience liked it half didn't. This was around this time when they were still on the air.
I remember that. Apparently KSWD 100.3 was the first station to flip to Xmas in 2017. (The station was already acquired, so they were doing all kinds of stunts, up until they finally changed format.)

I remember also that the set of Xmas music they played ended with "Dominic the Donkey," of all songs!

So much for sal streaming Christmas on kmozart. Yesterday it was Christmas but today it's back to classical which is odd. They said Christmas music till Jan 1. So sal ruined Christmas twice...No Xmas music on 105.1 and none on the stream kmozart.

It is odd that a station playing Xmas music would actually stop a couple of days before the holiday. Makes you wonder why the station did it to begin with.

On the other hand way, way back in the day Los Angeles commercial Classical station KFAC played Xmas music intermixed with Classical during at least one season all the way to January 6th. This was in recognition of the large number of Eastern Orthodox Christian listeners whose Churches generally celebrate Xmas based on the Julian calendar in which Dec 25th is the same as Jan 6th on the Gregorian calendar
