Pickelballl TV

Mgomrjsurf is cryptic, as usual. Not sure what his issue is. Anyway, Pickleball TV is on Plex and a couple of other FAST services. I can't see it as full-time programming on OTA TV for Sinclair or anyone else.

I swore I thought this was parody at first. I thought it was a sports parody channel getting a space on YouTube or streaming apps somewhere without any verification.

The FAST services have multiple pickleball channels. Not as many as they have for mixed martial arts, hunting/fishing and motor sports, but more than for mainstream sports like football and baseball. Some even have a couple of cornhole channels!

Pickleball is becoming a big thing. A park near where I live, converted some of the tennis courts into Pickleball courts. I don't quite understand the appeal of it.

Why don't you check out the pickleball channels on Plex or Tubi or whatever -- they're all free -- and see for yourself? Action, live and recorded, is on 24/7, with no infomercial filler. But yes, it's more taxing than shuffleboard.
It sounds boring, that's why. And the shuffleboard comment was a joke!

Invented on Bainbridge Island in WA state back in 1965, it has percolated locally around these parts for 50+ years with little fanfare. Then suddenly exploded- I suppose the Boomers who wanted to stay active were what has driven the popularity.

Not our proudest export.
