Dennis Prager's accident

Radio talk show host, author, and columnist Dennis Prager had a bad fall last week. According to other Salem Radio hosts, he hurt his back severely. Overall, however, they are being somewhat tight-lipped, so far, on details. For example, Bob Frantz, a host on WHK-AM 1420 in Cleveland, Ohio said that he can't say more right now. I hope Dennis will make a full and quick recovery. His sophisticated style, and deep-thinker ways are unique in talk radio.

Apparently the accident happened Tuesday in Los Angeles:

Social Media Freedom Foundation founder Jason Fyk also wrote in a post on X that he had spoken with Prager's wife, Susan Reed, and wrote that the media executive's "condition is far worse than I thought."

If I ever got hurt, I don't think I'd like others to say about me "We can't say more right now." As if the news was too bad and we don't want to bring people down. It might not be that bad but that statement makes it sound dramatic.

With all due respects to the injured man, about the only people who have heard of him or any of their other "hosts" are employees at the radio stations!

I've been a supporter of "PragerU" and the excellent 5-minute videos on many important issues. As such, occasionally, I get mail or a robocall from them. I got a phone call on 12/23/2024. The lady's voice mentioned that Dennis is getting better and that they are all so glad that his mental faculties have not been impacted.

Basing a network on one-sided talk like this, chasing out any type of "moderate" voices... producing anemic listenership... yup... makes a lot of biz sense...
