1680 now simulcasting KKDZ

KWSU (I think) still signs off at midnight. That leaves 1250 being KKDZ and (more than likely) KNEU in Roosevelt UT, running the Real Country format. 127 watts at night, but it's either on steroids, or likely, leaving the day power on at night. They can be very strong.
 
I noticed that KZIZ 1560 is back on the air again with very low power simulcasting 1250 doing nothing but India chanting and 1680 is running regular Radio Punjab programming and no longer simulcasting with 1250.
 
Wow! That must be super low power. The Maple Valley Kiwi SDR barely detects a carrier and that's the closest net-receiver to the KZIZ transmitter site.
 
Sikh prayer chants, probably. A lot of the South Asian stations play that sort of programming during early morning hours, midnight-6 a.m. or so, depending on the stations.

Haven't heard KZIZ yet, might be atmospheric conditions, or my radios just aren't picking it up.

They are operating on very lower power on the 1250 site on Hwy 18 and Auburn-Black Diamond with extremely lower power, it only comes in a small section in Auburn. They do have a new CP to build a new transmission facility in Sumner.

From the original 2022 special temporary authority filing, which has been extended several times. though the extensions dont mention the power level, they just refer back to this filing by filing number

AKAL respectfully requests Special Temporary Authorization for a period of 180 days to operate KZIZ(AM) at a power not to exceed 2 kW daytime1 and 0.225 kW nighttime, using the non-directional daytime antenna specified identified below.

They do have new CP that was filed in December to build in Sumner. They had a CP originally to diplex off 1210’s 2 towers on Hwy 167, but they changed it
