Because Chris is old and wants to slow down. That's what happens. People get old. It happens to everyone.
Because jobs change? People are promoted or enter a semi-retirement phase?
The Morning show sounds like a morning show from the 1980s Which is a relief bc There aren’t many like them left . Otherwise KTU tries to sound like a dance station. But they’re not They play the exact & I mean exact same Hot AC music The New 102.7 plays & The New 102.7 has started playing some Rap to stay with KTU. It’s confusing 🫤 I sometimes have to look at the preset to see what station I really have on.

The thing I like about 'KTU, however, is that it doesn't sound like all of the other iHeart Hot AC stations across the country. There's more 90s and 2000s music mixed in.
Why has KTU been playing the best of Hollywood Hamilton the last few weeks ? Are they making another change in the morning ?. Plus His morning show hasn’t even been on 6 months yet. How much best of can there be ?
KTU has always been special. I've been binging airchecks all weekend and the sweeper "Custom-designed for New York!" really was more than marketing hype. The station has a special vibe. And even though today's KTU is a tad more watered-down, it still has that rare "station-ality" quality that few radio stations have anymore.
Bill Lee is also a gem. I had no idea that guy was so good in his hey-day.

Do you Remember when KTU was really in competition with Hot 97 ? We were in the midst of a Heatwave & The KTU DJ’s couldn’t use the Word “Hot “.

Bill Lee has been sidelined to nights, largely due to his age. But I would argue that he has not lost a step. 40 years later, he is still rhyming and hitting the post on nearly every break. Along with others, such as Jo Jo Kincaid, Broadway is one of the best to every do the job.
