The Fish 95.5 sold to KLove.

...and it looks like WFHM will be changing to WKLV-FM on February 1. The WFHM calls will be buried on a K-Love station in Butler, Alabama.

Call letters don't mean anything but I chuckled at them selecting WKLV for a frequency once home to WCLV.

"You're listening to K-Love 95.5 - WKLV, Kleveland."

So I just realized something. With K-Love on 95.5 FM, will they pull their broadcast from WMJI-HD2? I would like to see something like soft rock or 60's music on WMJI's HD2.

IHERT AND EMF have dealsin cities across the nation and will probably ditch the feed on 105.7hd 2 but i doubt they will replace it with anything since stopped airing feeds on hd2 unless its to feed a translator

They could possibly simulcast WARF 1350 the Gambler on WMJI HD2 (which has a translator on 103.7).

Depends if K-Love Inc. adds HD to 95.5. If not, Air1 could go to 105.7 HD2. That would give good coverage for them in Cleveland and complementing the Akron coverage on 98.1 HD2. I think HD will be added to 95.5 giving a place for Air1 and either their new Spanish network or possibly Boost FM which they carry on HD in a couple markets.

K-Love has two other networks that can be piped into WMJI-HD2, regardless if 95.5 adds HD multicasting or not.

I'm listening to WFHM on its final day. In morning drive I heard Len and Sara sharing that they are receiving many 'thank-you's and thanking the listeners for being there. They also suggested that people can keep in touch with them online to see what's next for them.

WFHM is, in-a-way, going on as if nothing is going to happen. They still played a promo-sweep for the morning show in-between songs, and this was after 1:00 p.m.

Yesterday, during the afternoon drive show, Josh Booth said that at the beginning of 'The Fish's' last Thursday Throwback show at 6:00 p.m., he was going to play the very first song that WFHM played. On the last Throwback Thursday show, every song was to be 10 years or older.

Listened today. You wouldn't know the difference between K Love and Fish other than different call letters. Sounds pretty much the same. Sorry for the loss of the local hosts but they have a lot of hosts on the new K Love.

My guess is you aren't much of a Christian Contemporary listener. I'm not either. I can't figure out the appeal of a format where every song can only be about one subject.

But I don't think K-Love and The Fish were almost the same station. One was local with commercials and support for area churches and schools. One is national, non-commercial and is supported by donations. On K-Love in Cleveland, only the legal I.D. is different than the K-Love stations in New York, Boise and Honolulu.

On the car radio screen, I notice that K-Love does not have artist and song names listed. That's not good, particularly when they, seemingly, only mention song and artist names only occasionally.
