Heres another one this time in San Diego County.
Is it off again? Because, possibly related to the above, KFLA-8 went off-air again this afternoon, and is still missing as of this moment.

My personal opinion is that the Cybertruck looks like a complete douchemobile, but I don't think the rest of Tesla's cars look particularly bad relative to where conventional gas-powered car design is at today. The main issue with EVs is that they just aren't green. They merely exchange the pollution of fossil fuel combustion for an increased toxic used battery waste load on the environment. Also, in most cases, they still result in the burning of fossil fuels. It's simply pushed out of sight and out of mind, to your nearest power plant.
If the salt batteries mentioned earlier hold any promise, that would be a bigger environmental game changer than the mere electrification of cars itself. Imagine all the additional applications beyond cars (home solar battery banks, for example) where toxic conventional batteries could be completely removed from the equation.
The Griffith Park fire was thankfully extinguished fast, and the person responsible -- a homeless guy with a history of starting various fires -- was found as a result of a witness taking a photo of him and getting it to the park police quickly.

And now there's another one in northern LA County near Castaic Lake:
They're calling it the Hughes Fire.
I fear NorCal will be in a similar situation as SoCal a few months from now if we don't get more rain (there's a slight chance of rain this weekend, but if that doesn't come to pass and the clear weather holds, this will be one of the driest Januaries on record).

And now we are watching how San Diego News outlets are covering multiple wildfires in their area. Yes San Diego City Fire Department and Cal Fire alerts in San Diego have to watch out because they fear something similar as the Palisades and Altadena Fires became at in the past 2 weeks.
Ukiah is at 123% of normal to date and Santa Rosa at 157%.
The L.A. region is at 1% to 8%, depending on specific location. They're WAY worse off.
The Hughes Fire is the big one right now. This is shocking, as to how fast it is spreading. I-5 is closed...

That's right. Thankfully we got lots of rain, so we're off to a better than average start, and as you said, waaay better off than SoCal. However, as we've seen in past years, fortunes can change very quickly.
For example, during the winters of 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2017-2018 and 2019-2020, we started with decent, average to well above average precipitation for November and December, but then come January, the rain pretty much stopped altogether and everything became bone dry. February and March were similarly dry (and unusually warm; I remember the end of January through early March of 2018, the average daytime temps in the north SF Bay Area averaged in the mid 70s through mid 80s! This was repeated in 2020) and so as a result, NorCal unsurprisingly had some of it's worst fire seasons on record during those years.
Here's a graph of the drought areas over the past 25 years that I borrowed from Wikipedia:
If you look at the present (at the extreme right of the graph, you can see similarities to the start of the prior drought periods, where the drought starts relatively mild and limited in scope, and then sharply intensifies within a short peropd. It looks to me like that pattern may repeat again this year, and we're going to see another severe drought period similar to what happened in 2020 and 2014. I'd love to be proven wrong, of course!
That's a very unfortunate problem. It seems that nobody noticed it when they were being booked for the performance, but who could blame them, with all the awfulness they've been trhough this month?

A new wildfire is being reported in the San Diego area and they have to deal with their largest fire so far. All San Diego News outlets are covering the Otay Mountain fire which is at 4000 acres as of this posting. Yes so far local San Diego News outlets are covering this fire.
