WBEZ Radio/Sun-Times Newspaper.

The problem is the expense of running the Sun Times, not the radio station. If they follow WAMU, they might shut down the Sun-Times.

EMF already owns WCKL (the former WLUP) which is a great signal.
Yeah, EMF doesn’t need a second full power signal in the market. They’re one of three radio companies in the market where they don’t need to acquire more stations.

Regardless, the radio station isn't for sale, and isn't the reason for the buyouts. It's the Sun Times. I don't think EMF wanted to get in the newspaper business.
