AM Frequency of the Week: 1210

Wow... tonight captured 1210 WMPS out of Bartlett, TN (Memphis). Never caught them before.
KGYN was dominating, so nulling them brought in the Memphis station.
Was hoping for Philadelphia, but have never received.

WMPS was playing Unchained Melody by The Righteous Bros., followed by Elvis' Don't Be Cruel. Sounded great, then faded. While hearing this, KGYN became absent.

Looking at this MW map, Austin, Texas, is a bit west of WMPS' signal, but it came in tonight.

KGYN Guymon (not Guyman) came in today at 8:30 a.m. in the Austin, Texas, area.

A weak signal, was airing Fox Sports, followed by Town Hall News, Salem's conservative-focused "news."
KGYN's daytime signal isn't projected to travel even to Dallas-Fort Worth.

It's night signal travels farther south, so likely was still on its night signal.

KGYN has been heard quite a few times up here in Alaska.
