Hard to imagine much interest for Central Maine sports in Eastern Maine.Wonder if they plan to just simulcast 1160 The Score on them? Of course they're going to need to find a TX site for 620...

More likely they'll diplex with one of their own other sister AMs, no?Possible site for 620 could be sharing the WTOS 910 (formerly WABI) tower in Brewer.

Then perhaps they can triplex. Often done in Hawaii. In Cuba, having four stations on a tower is done by the Chinese engineers. One of their sites is already diplexed. The other is right across the street.
Wouldn’t 620 require a taller tower than the 1230 and 1340 graveyarders? Neither appear to be very tall.More likely they'll diplex with one of their own other sister AMs, no?
We've had 3-4 on a tower quite commonly in the UK, no need for Chinese engineering. The two-tower array I can see from my window used to have 909, 1089 and 1215 all at 400kW, quite a feat at the time, although these days 1215 is gone and the other two are at somewhat lower power levels. Then perhaps they can triplex. And now that I think about it, WTOS is owned by Blueberry Broadcasting which would probably not be interested.More likely they'll diplex with one of their own other sister AMs, no?
On Route 179 in Eddington on shore of Penobscot River. One of their sites is already diplexed. The other is right across the street.
Monet talks, money talks !And now that I think about it, WTOS is owned by Blueberry Broadcasting which would probably not be interested.
Not only in China, in Mexico I saw a tower with 4 frequencies in operation. The tower was set up for 1250 kHz, but it multiplied 1100 kHz, 950 kHz and 650 kHz. I can't tell you how terrible that operation was, two of them were 5kW stations, and the rest were 1kW. At 9 miles away you could hear all the harmonics on the tuners. Even one of these 950 kHz frequencies was causing interference in the last mile of the analog telephone power lines. Then perhaps they can triplex. Often done in Hawaii. In Cuba, having four stations on a tower is done by the Chinese engineers.
