New Orleans WLNO license revoked

1060 WLNO's renewal and license was cancelled yesterday for not responding to the FCC why they had been silent, apparently since 2021.
 
With FCC staff likely to be gutted in the near future I suspect there will be more than a few stations that simply close up shop and disappear without any notice to the Commission.
 
The group that owns WLNO doesn't have a great track record. They have a few stations that are silent or are under STA.

You're sure right about that, @rfburns. Have a look-see at the mess they made of their build out for 104.9 WETO @ Mooringsport. That could've become a great facility for NWLA, but it's not. Instead, it's deleted.
