I can confirm that the Nevada City Community Broadcast Group will not be building Bridgeport. I tried, but with all of the variables affecting us and other CPB-funded stations our board did not want to dip into reserves to fund it. We actually applied for one in the Tahoe Basin but were beaten by the Reno Bike Project on points, so we moved it to Bridgeport to make them both singletons. The Reno Bike Project one is KWNK, and it looks like they've applied for 100 watts from a residence on View Circle. I suspect they will come on the air in time to save the CP.

Bridgeport...wow. Looks like you would've gotten good coverage with 30 watts high up, but would you have been able to get enough of a donor base to be worth it? The 395 corridor is sparsely populated and I bet getting over there in the winter from your side of the Sierras would often be a real struggle.
