Fake virus ads

Yes, it is feasible, that is the whole idea! Of course you should have the proper protection. Does this look like the normal update you would see for your phone? Honestly I wouldn't click on it?
They wouldn't be spending money if people weren't clicking on it.
Nothing can be done about it, that's why it's an FYI.
I wouldn't click on it, but my 90 year old father with bad vision has clicked on something like that before and got sent to the App Store to download something. Thankfully he was smart enough to call me. Apple has built in protection against viruses but it doesn't stop people from getting to the App Store and downloading a shady app that's going to steal your data.

The only way I can do something about it is knowing the url of the actual ad unit so I can block it (not the link where the ad goes to). However, it is usually whack-a-mole as these advertisers (which I don't want here and do block when I can).
