was listening to 95.5 WKLV yesterday and the signal went blank all of a sudden. the reception was still good, but nothing was playing.
But no title or artist information yet.the signal abruptly turned back on just now.
Surprisingly, it's been 12 hours (or more depending on when the signal went out), but nothing is still being aired or posted on K-Love's website.
From Lance:When does Klove Inc. officially take control? Was reading a Dallas discussion the other day and their new K-Love is having many problems but they can't do anything until they officially own it.
EMF will take over those stations around February 1 with EMF paying for the stations with a $72 million promissory note due in 2027 at 3-month SOFR + 1.00% starting July 1, 2025.

This is part of a bigger engineering issue as the stations acquired from Salem are the first stations they are using complete IP delivery on as opposed to satellite distribution. From what I was told there were some driver issues in their Axia system at their Franklin TN HQ causing conflicts with their Zetta automation, which in turn was creating silent gaps in programming. I've been told the cause has been found and should have been fixed.

The distribution paths are completely different. Why wouldn't this impact the rest of the network or are they running 'separate' feed for Salem's sold stations vs. the National K-Love feed that airs everywhere else via Satellite?
Every EMF station is simply racked at the transmitter site, pending acquisition or not. The difference is the Salem stations are the start of their company-wide transition to IP delivery.I said what I said earlier based on that in the past when K-Love has purchased licenses from others and took them over early via LMA while waiting for the FCC Sale to close - they generally run through the previous owners air chain until the sale closes and they just rack it at the transmitter site. But I also understand not every sale is alike.
