Two months in Top 5 for CapRadio News (KXJZ)

Last time I saw a ppm my friend had three of them in their possession. All active. How fair is this methodology really? Nielsen really needs to be more careful in placing these devices. It's about time kfbk gets some real competition. Nice to see a Bonneville station at the top. Good selection wins again. How is KSTE Doing?

Your friend is going to be in trouble with Nielsen if they find out your friend is making it known they’re part of the survey group.

PPMs are placed in households. Since households usually have more than one member, most PPM panelists will have access to more than one unit.

I'm sure Nielsen is happy every time they get a household to agree to join the panel. Recruiting is a significant expense.

I'm so happy to see CapRadio perform so well. I always thought the rating should have been higher than they were based on the market demographics. KVIE is one of the most successful and watched PBS stations in the country as a example. I remember one year it performed better in Sacramento than KQED did in the Bay Area, but that was years ago.

I wonder if all of the publicity CapRadio has received over the past two years has raised awareness of the resource.
