Oldies 96.5: KIKO-FM Claypool AZ

I wonder if Don Cheto will move here soon KASA.
It is likely because part of the original team of the indiscreta 106.7 was hired back for that new project, mind you, they are two different entities. They only rescued the talent and operations.

I discovered this morning that KIKO-FM's old website at

is not only still online but is still streaming its prior oldies format. While I am aware of some popular oldies stations doing this (think KFRC-FM) for a period of time after they sign off of the air, this is the first time I've heard of a not-so-popular oldies station doing the same thing.

It also looks like the site hasn't been updated in a while with the FCC link leading to the last time the radio station filed under the KIKO callsign. I can't imagine how they're going to pay for streaming the music when SoundExchange comes around...

John Low 1TV. That just about explains it.

Do you know what (if any) call signs are mentioned in their station ID?

I just heard the top of the hour id, KIKO fm Claypool and a translator in Phoenix and something about HD2 is what it said. I'm listening to Journey currently as I type this.
