95.3 KWLL, now KELW, has returned to playing music after a 5 year stint with Christian preaching. Simulcast from KGLY Tyler, "Lift Worship" is now available across most of the Tyler-Longview area.

The Well is mentioned on 91.3/95.3 as being available online at mywellradio.com, but no mention that it also remains available on 94.3 for Bullard, J'ville, Frankston and Tyler.

Accidental omission? Apparently not. Stay tuned, folks. Word around the water cooler is that another shoe is to drop in the Piney Woods.

I see you working real hard on that subject title! 🤪

That is interesting. I saw they have a couple of online stations: modoVida (Spanish language Christian teaching) and Evergreen Christmas Radio. They could put one of those on 94.3.

I don’t think a year-around Christmas station on the FM dial is feasible, but a Spanish language teaching station might be. That format isn’t available in the market except on maybe a couple LPFMs.

Ironically, the KELW calls could still go with a “Well”-branded station. Perhaps they stand for “East Texas Lift Worship”?

I don't think so, Jay. Buying all 4 stations from Paul Coates was required to obtain what the ERFET actually wanted. Now, we're 5 years in on the ministry's expansion. Fuzion continues to expand its reach, as does KVNE.

Now, KGLY has doubled its reach by moving 95.3 into a simulcast, something that's been desired for some time. KZXM appears to be the odd signal out. No mention of its existence on-air, instead, instructions to use the listen live feature on mywellradio.com going out over 91.3 & 95.3.

Check out the recently cancelled LPTV station that was to be built here for the Aleluya group from Pasadena. There's no money for those hucksters to be made up here. They've tried a couple of times to obtain and build out a CP here. They've walked away each time.

You've got 2 Spanish language ministries here. 92.5 & 93.7. I know basically nothing about KJID, but Radio Esperanza is a tremendous group of passionate individuals focused on delivering a well-presented ministry to the Mexican community here, through both music and instruction, and have a good product going out over the Tyler airwaves. The church gets the real purpose behind LPFM. They know their community, and are super serving it to the best of their abilities.

Encouragement's Lift Worship.

When you possess the creative mind this ol' redneck does, it isn't going to take much thought in coming up with a rather basic title like that, Ryan. It kind of writes itself, to be honest.
