Denver Radio jalapeño denver am 1700?

I was going through the am band and found a station on am 1700. I thought this was odd because I have very rarely ever picked up any signal on this station before. I googled am 1700 denver no results. But then found a 5kw daytime 1 Kw night time station out of tx called radio jalapeño kklf. I thought ok problem solved, but then about 10 mins later I heard live and local radio jalapeño denver. This didn’t make sense to me because I couldn’t find a station registered to that frequency for the denver market. Does anyone know anything about this. Is this a new station that I somehow didn’t know about?

Propagation was very strange last night; you can see this thread for more: https://radiodiscussions.com/threads/the-am-dial-is-weird-tonight.776116/
Possible candidates other than KKLF could be XEPE Tecate, Baja California or KVNS Brownsville, Texas. KBGG Des Moines, Iowa is on a silent STA and, in any case, last night's propagation was totally dead to the north.

With KDMT Arvada being on 1690, there's not going to be anything local to Denver and legitimate on 1700.

Ok I agree but that still doesn’t answer the question of why the station id said radio jalapeño Denver Colorado live and local. I have a recording of this if you’d like proof I’m not making this up sir. ….

Sure! I don't think you can post audio files here, though, due to their size.

I'm hearing something on 1700 tonight, which sounds like the rhythms of some kind of Mexican music, but it's not strong enough for me to make out anything more.

I can try posting on YouTube and yes it was in and out the signal barely came in but distinctly said live and local radio jalapeño Denver it’s over an hour the recording so I have to find that part and post it .
