A second chance.

During the afternoon drive shift on Tuesday 06/03/2025 at WDLW, the DJ/host referenced that he has to meet with his parole officer. Sounds like a case of someone being given a second chance with a job. That's a good thing. He indicated that his job there was a summer job.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would mention that on the air. Perhaps it was a droll, tasteless joke.
Or perhaps he was channeling Kevin Bacon in "Telling Lies in America" or the ex-Akron DJ character in Joe Jarmusch's
"Down in Law"!

Especially when the DJ in question is also the station owner. I am going to assume this was purely tongue in cheek (I would have no way of knowing as I was at work at the time).
