MyNetworkTV Schedule

I'm wondering if anyone here can help me out. I'm doing research on the history of MyNetworkTV, formed from those WB and UPN affiliates left out of the creation of the CW back in 2006. Since the 2009 season, MyNetworkTV has existed largely as a glorified syndication service, made up entirely of NBCUniversal properties (ironic, since MNT is owned by Fox Broadcasting's parent company).

For the 2024-25 season, the primetime schedule has consisted of "Law & Order: SVU" on Mondays, "Suits" on Tuesdays, "Dateline" on Wednesday & Thursday and "Chicago Fire" on Fridays. This is slightly different from the previous season when "Chicago Fire" aired on Tuesdays and "Chicago PD" aired on Fridays and shared Thursdays with "Dateline". My question is does anyone know when the current line-up premiered? I know based on social media postings that "Suits" premiered on Sept. 17, 2024 and based on MNT's historic schedules, it is likely that the rest of the current line-up likewise premiered during the week of Sept. 16. However, I haven't been able to positively confirm that. Can anyone help me with that confirmation? Either through personal knowledge or links to sites that contain that information. Unfortunately, sited such as The Futon Critic or TV Tango that have historical schedules, MNT is not listed.

The more interesting part here is that secondary stations owned by Fox remove their “My Network” for extensions of their Primary Fox affiliate like KCOP Los Angeles is Fox 11+, KICU San Francisco is KTVU+, KDFI Dallas is Fox 4 and More, WDCA Washington DC is Fox 5 Plus. Yes in turn these stations air Fox prime time Programming whenever the primary ones have to preempt Fox Network shows for Breaking News.

Interestingly for now until proven otherwise WWOR-TV is the only secondary Fox Station that has not been renamed as Fox 5 Plus. They are keeping the “My Network” name.

I think your presumption that Suits premiered on MNT the same week as the rest of the fall schedule changes is 99.99% correct. They have never spread out premiere dates over multiple weeks (unless you count that disastrous first season of telenovela adaptations).

That's a new one. I've seen situations where MNT gets moved to late night (usually because the station is also the CW affiliate) but never one where essentially the schedule runs in prime-time then repeats it in late night on a co-owned station.

Back in 2020 Nexstar bounced the "My Network" programing to 11:35PM on
WCTX/59 in New Haven, Connecticut so co-owned WTNH/8 could air news in prime time on WCTX. They also haven't used the "My TV" branding in a while just calling themselves WCTX.

News 8 on WCTX
4AM-7AM Simul of WTNH
7AM-8AM WCTX only
8PM-11PM WCTX only
11PM-11:35 simul of WTNH

I don't know what's going to happen if Nexstar picks up CW for WCTX from Tenga's WCCT/20.

Other exciting programming on WCTX include 5 episodes of Family Feud a day, reruns of Dr. Phil, stale reruns of Judge Judy, several court shows including Judy Justice, TMZ, Extra, and Drew Berrymore. It's been several years since they last aired TMZ Live. P.S. They've been airing stale reruns of Judge Judy for years while sister station WTNH ran the new episodes of Judge Judy when that show was still being produced.
