Mobile iHeart Mobile

Out of curiousity who runs iHeart stations in Mobile? Their website seems to be less functional than the stations in Pensacola. For example, the Playlist and Top Songs pages won't work and you cannot contact them on the contact page.

(que the boomers coming in and telling me there is no issue lol).
 
Probably somewhere in the iHeart Universe outside of the area. I think even the Pensacola operations were shuttered years back and any local presence is out of 555 Broadcast Drive (upper floors) for whoever's left in the building.

iHeart has been dead to me since they laid off people like Dan Brennan and sold their souls to Morgan Wallen for his concert back in 2021.

All of iHeart's websites are run on the corporate level. Local has nothing to do with them. If the features aren't working, it would be an engineering issue with the automation not exporting to the correct place.

I figured it had to be something like that. I don't know anything about the software but I am assuming it's the same data that would be sent to RDS/HD encoders for radio displays? I feel like the Mobile iHeart stations have had some technical issues with that data showing up on car radios off and on for months now. I swear every time I've tuned past KSJ or The Rocket it's only said something about Jason Pilger Chevrolet in Atmore in the RDS fields, lol.

I don't know if other IHeart clusters are like that, but they love to whore out their personalities to their clients. Poor personalities like Uncle Henry, and especially Mary Booth.
