Former WHDH on-air personalities

Lately, I have been wondering a lot about just some of the on-air personnel at WHDH from the early 90s, just before it was sold to Sunbeam. I distinctly remember R.D. Sahl and Margie Reedy were the main anchors. I know R.D. Sahl I think moved to a few different stations. I think there was even a show he had on WGBH. But I'm not sure what happened with Margie Reedy. I think she left for a bit in 1993 and then came back in 1994. But I don't know what's happened to her since then.

And don't forget Lottery Live! Dawn Hayes has not hosted Lottery Live for 21 years now. However, I was able to find what she's been up to since. In fact, I actually found a podcast that she was on back in 2019, which can be heard here:

But then, what about the subs? In other words, the people who would fill in when Dawn Hayes was absent, or on Sundays. The 2 people I mostly remember are Linda Ward, who I have not been able to find any information on, and I think she did it for quite a few years. And then there was Jill Stark, who did it for less than a year. I think she started in July 1993 and went right up until Lottery Live moved to WCVB the following year. If you can imagine this, I actually found a video of her, but NOT from Lottery Live. In fact, she actually worked for the local cable access channel in Beverly. There's a video of her doing the 1994 Beverly Santa parade, as seen here:

She actually looked quite different there, maybe just because she was outside. And I actually was able to find both Dawn and Jill's personal Facebook pages, but I would be hesitant to message them there, because Facebook pages are usually intended to be private.

How about Andi Waugh who won a much publicized talent search to be the new Lottery Live host when WNEV took over the drawings? I think she lasted a year before being replaced by Dawn Hayes.

I knew about Andi Waugh. I remember being surprised when that clip was finally posted, because for awhile, there were no clips of her, and now there are 3. She was attractive, but kind of painful to watch, as I think someone said on a thread that I made here years and years ago. It's amazing how more and more clips have become available. There's actually quite a few clips of Lottery Live posted on YouTube. Several with Dawn Hayes, and others with some of the other hosts who didn't last. But there doesn't seem to be all that many from WNEV/WHDH. However, I have seen some very old Lottery Live clips from back when it was on WBZ in the 80s before WNEV, and Tom Bergeron hosted. It's no longer on TV, and it's all done online now, and I feel like it's just not the same. The drawings are Live on YouTube, but they got new machines in 2019, which replaced the classic wheels they used for about 40 years, and they have an off-screen announcer and really crappy music.

There's someone else we're forgetting. Mish Michaels. I'm not sure when she started at WHDH, but I think it was in 1992 or 1993. I'm pretty sure she was in radio before that, possibly on WSNE. But then after WHDH she went to The Weather Channel and then WBZ, and I think she even worked at WGBH for awhile. But then she sadly was killed. I don't think it was published exactly how she died, but some sources say it was an automobile accident, and some say she was murdered. But it was a shame. Because all those women I've mentioned ... I had crushes on them as a kid.

No she wasn't murdered.

It was neither, and it's not the public's business , which is why it was never published, and shouldn't be posted here even if someone else knows.
