CBS Network Programming Outage (7/15/2025)

I was taking a nap when this happened, around 9PM CST, so I don't know if this affected KCTV, Ch. 5 in Kansas City, MO.

This also affected KOAM-TV, Ch. 7 in Pittsburg, KS\Joplin, MO.

Word leaking out of the CBS Broadcast Center this morning is that all affiliate decoders were retuned to a dead channel, for reasons yet unknown.

9PM CT, so I think all the West Coast stations would have still been in news or syndication. I have no cable, so I don't know how KBOI-2 handled it here.
Somebody made a BIG boo-boo at CBS...either that or they got hacked.

The only West Coast station that runs early primetime is (or was, been a while since I checked) their affiliate in Sacramento. If they still are, they'd have been on the network by 7pm PDT (=9pm CDT).

That looks like it's from the mid-late 1960s. Has that style that CBS used to love.
