June ratings are here

June numbers: Houston/Galveston

KSBJ back in the sevens.

The Beat beating The Box.

The Spot’s spotlight shrinks again.

La Ley lays a little lower.

El Norte, La Raza and Que Buena all in the lower twos.

Sol Radio doing nicely for a translator.

Always nice to see an HD only Classical consistently show up.

Give it 2 books and we will see KOVE take a dip and KROI on top!
Univision needs to do something about BMF they took a beating in Houston and in Dallas a market where they (94.1) has been on top for years. KAMAis almost getting beat by a translator and the only Spanish sports station just cant seem to do anything.

Careful what you wish for. KAMA and KQBU are at the bottom but the only good thing about that you can go only go up from there.

The old KAMA/KQBU simulcast never made sense to me a few years ago. But if there were ever a time to bring it back, it would be now. Broadcasting from the much shorter auxiliary tower has really hurt KAMA's coverage.

WIth no immediate relief in sight, now would be the perfect time to use KQBU to try and regain the Northern, Southern, and Eastern suburbs lost last October.

If not KAMA, then give KLTN the help it needs to put the SBS newcomer in its place.

KAMA has applied for a new aux site that will duplicate the coverage of the destroyed Ennis tower. Once that is built I suspect they will apply to make it the primary transmitter.

Agree that KQBU is largely being wasted these days. Sell it to EMF for Radio Nueva Vida?

The three are sold as a package, so it does add sales value.
