June Ratings/Demos

Audacy should work out a deal with Emmis to swap 94.7 with 98.7 (with some cash involved obviously). I think The Block would work better there. Of course La Exitosa won’t do well at 94.7, but Emmis isn’t interested in a long term presence here.
Emmis wants $50 million for 98.7. Even if they’re succumbing to the reality that they’re gonna have to bring that number down, 94.7 would fetch even less and Audacy doesn’t have the cash to make up the difference.

David would know more about this, but I don't think it would be logical for WINS to abandon their strong overall signal at 92.3 to move to 94.7 simply because of Sussex County strength. Sussex is a small County in NW Jersey that's simply embedded in the NY Metro. There are probably minuscule sales dollars there that affect their overall bottom line.
The bigger… much bigger… part of the market is Nassau and Suffolk and that is critical to an all news format.

That was the initial news report. We don’t really know what they might accept today.

The rumors all involve other operators.
