I’ve noticed Eric has been missing for almost two weeks from WSB. I have read the speculations on social media (which are all over the place) but was curious if anyone really knows why he has been missing.

Eric Missing from the Von Haessler Doctrine

They haven’t changed the name of the show and it’s the middle of the summer….probably on vacation like they’ve mentioned on the show.
They’ve been saying he’s on an “extended vacation” and will return soon but do not give a date (which made me wonder why).

Could you please elaborate for those of us who didn't hear it?
He apologized for missing the Care-a-thon. He said his immediate family was ok. He also said he wasn't sure at some point if he could ever go back on the radio again or something like that.
