Yeah, strong they are. I remember hearing them testing, years ago, back in the Fall or early Winter, can't remember the year, when just a kid in the NC Piedmont. Heard them some years later, on a Sunday morning in Robbinsville, NC, with an old preacher friend from Hickory, NC, just preachin' away, what a pleasant surprise! Actually found a recent ID from them on Youtube, the other day and subsequently googled them. No, sorry, it wasn't from them, it was from one of their sister stations, whatever the 92.9 translator is over that-a-way. I asked in the Comments, if it was the same as 'PWT, because their slogan is Power Talk, what 870 used to be, before capitalizing on 640's format change. As I said in the comment as well, Dr. Hill's got his hands all in the pie in that neck of the woods.
