Corpus Christi, TX Top 40 radio.

I had a question about the old KITE 105 FM. What year did it switch from a beautiful music format to a Top 40? I know Mark Driscoll was music director there in 1983 before being hired at WLUM in Milwaukee.

Welcome, but ... this forum is for introductions.

You'll get a faster response if you ask on the Texas state board.

April 19, 1982. It was initially consulted by Burkhart-Abrams and listed as a Rock station before moving to straight CHR within a couple of years.

105.5 Corpus Christi....so many formats. Nearly a dozen and a half since it signed on it the late 1970s.
