So, basically the return of what had been on 7.5 prior to Rewind TV?Looking at Gracenote TV Listings, it appears MeTV on KAZT will be replaced by the AZTV Encore Channel not AntennaTV. Not sure if they will use the AZTV branding for it this time or something else.
That’s if they could get a sales staff to sell local ads for the channel. They have a decent relationship with Gray (as opposed to the fallout they’ve had with Nexstar), so maybe they could sell ads and place KMEE on one of their full power subchannels. So does KMEE start picking up local advertising? Instead of the "Bulbhead and Prescription Med" ads?
That's what it looks like. AZ Daily Mix Encores, syndicated Court Shows, syndicated Talk Shows, Law and Order SVU, and Family Feud. So, basically the return of what had been on 7.5 prior to Rewind TV?
Merit filed to reject (terminate) their contract with KAZT with the bankruptcy court a month ago. I guess maybe they are waiting until the judge approves the rejection, unlike the Pay TV providers who pulled Merit TV the day rejections were filed. Also, weren’t they supposed to pull Merit TV from 7.3?

Converting my 4 PM and 12 AM recordings from yesterday, it looks like they switched the Transport Stream configuration back. Program 8 is gone and No Program with the KMOH MeTV feed is back.Looks like KEJR-LD transport stream was reconfigured last night as they get ready for the MeTV move. Usually when I record something on MeTV Toons 40.2 my ADTH Box also records the hidden KMOH MeTV feed labeled "No Program" as it did yesterday at 4 PM (see first picture). But as of my 12 AM recording this is no longer the case. Looks like the "No Program" channel has been replaced with a Program 8 (see second picture). Although, it shows in the .DVR files transport stream, it does not show in my Channel List on the ADTH Box yet. On the up side it means my .DVR file is a lot smaller now because it's only recording one Program from the Transport Stream instead of two.

It sounds like they're looking for someone who wants to take over KPNX as well if that deal goes through. The previous GM ran KASW under Nexstar. The first Saturday and Sunday schedules for Channel 7.2 post MeTV are now showing on TV Passport. Looks like they picking up syndicated College Football probably the Allen Media package. Also, Wallace & Ladmo is back on Sunday at 4:30 PM on 7.2.

EDIT: There's now a job posting on Nexstar website for Vice President and General Manager of Nexstar Digital Phoenix "along with our linear properties KAZT (CW) and NAZT (AZ-TV)." I'm guessing the NAZT (AZ-TV) they are referring to is probably Channel 7.2.

They're not calling it "AZTV Encore," but "MORE! Arizona."That's what it looks like. AZ Daily Mix Encores, syndicated Court Shows, syndicated Talk Shows, Law and Order SVU, and Family Feud.
I'm surprised they decided not to use the AZTV name. On the MeTV subject, I'm guessing maybe they had to post something on the website about the move to 40.1 as part of ending the contract 2.5 years early. I wonder if they will run crawl bar and/or an ad on Channel 7.2 informing viewers about the move before Monday. I also wonder if Weigel will unhide and move the MeTV feed to 40.1 before Monday. And will they continue to use the KMOH feed which is just the national feed plus Arizona and Me on Saturday morning or will they switch to the MeTV Arizona feed that's used for KAZT instead? They're not calling it "AZTV Encore," but "MORE! Arizona."
At least they're telling viewers where MeTV is moving to, which is so non-Nexstar.
I wonder if Weigel gets enough complaints about the 40.1 signal if they would be willing to lease one of the local Gray subchannels for a full power simulcast?I'm surprised they decided not to use the AZTV name. They (KMOH/KMEE) will be on Cox/98; DirecTV/6; and Dish/11. That is a lot of coverage.I wonder if Weigel gets enough complaints about the 40.1 signal if they would be willing to lease one of the local Gray subchannels for a full power simulcast?
On Monday, 9/29, KMOH (Kingman) will change call signs to KMEE. The new lineup will be:
6.1 MeTV 720p
6.2 MeTV+ 720p
6.3 Story 480i 16x9
6.4 MeTV Toons 480i 16x9
6.5 WEST 480i 16x9
Further, on 9/29, KEJR's callsign becomes KMEE and it will change FCC classification to a translator of KMEE Kingman. It will 100% replicate the KMEE signal.
There have been no changes made to the KEJR transport in months. I suspect any change you see are Gracenote/Xperi/Redbee changes.
